The E-Lottery System & the El Gordo Lottery — the Secret Sauce

Posted on Thursday 24 September 2009

A major event within the Euromillions Euro lottery is the El Gordo Loteria which you may find it worthwhile to know more about. This lottery is well-known for jackpots that are among the world’s richest – payouts as high as more than two and a half billion Euros. But do read on, because that’s not all, not by a long shot. There’s lots more to it you will want to know. The chances of becoming a prize winner are as high as one in six, with over 13,000 different amounts. That’s a surprisingly good rate when examined in the context of other major lotteries.

Each month the Euromillions Euro lotto holds one draw. Even more substantial prizes can be won from special draws held during three months around the year. Biggest (and most popular) of all the drawings is the Christmas lottery “El Gordo”, while the other two special lotteries are in January – “El Nio” – and summer (“San Ildefonso”).

Unlike other lottery draw systems, the El Gordo Lottery utilizes balls with five digits printed on each in a range from 00,000 to 84,999. During the draw a ball is drawn from a bowl to identify the winning number while a second is pulled out of the second bowl to find the amount of the prize. To enter the draw, your first option is a full ticket, termed a “serie”. The other option is cheaper; called a “décimo” which is worth one tenth of a full ticket. Sadly, both both of these choices are pricey ways to play and neither of them will boost your chance of a win anyway. As a consequence the Euromillions Euro Lotto has put an e-lottery system into operation.

The e-lottery system promises a prize for every participant. All you do is buy into the Euromillions Euro Lotto syndicate and you’ll be pooled into teams. With each team having a number between zero and nine, the final digit on the winning number determines the winners who will go on to take the money. A fair division of the spoils among the members follows. After that, subscriptions are offered ready for the lottery the following month.

The concept of sharing the jackpots is cause for concern for some players. The thing to remember is there’s still plenty to go around when the total prize was 2.6 billion Euros. You’ll find the syndicate e-lottery is far more cost effective, and with the knowledge that you’ll win something in each draw, you don’t have to worry about losing all the time. The syndicate is the truly smart way to play…
